Thunderbird
“send” is missing, no “send” after composing a message. Just a “send later” (»später senden«)
May the flash of destruction hit a mail program without a send button.
Via Google you find a complicated instructions to avoid a strange add-on to have taken away your send button. Forget it.
I installed the latest version of Thunderbird, right over my old one. Bingo. Quick.
Here the versions of Thunderbird: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/all/

PS. To me, old user of Outlook, Thunderbird feels like from the rock ages, very technical, sometimes quite strage. If you want to mail in Text-only mode. How? Klick compose (Verfassen) while holding down the left Alt button. They couldn’t tell you in the menu? You’ve got to know! On the other hand it seems to be a lean, no-nonsense, no charm program.
